Govt Committed to Boosting Foreign Investment, Says Qaiser Sheikh

Chiniot: Minister for the Board of Investment Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to extend full cooperation to investors and promote foreign investment in Pakistan. In a recent media interaction, he emphasized the government’s determination to provide relief to the public and facilitate the investors.

According to Radio Pakistan, Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh highlighted that the Board of Investment is actively engaged in carrying out regulatory reforms aimed at providing ease to investors and simplifying business procedures. These efforts are part of a broader strategy to create a more investor-friendly environment in the country.

The minister also mentioned the government’s initiatives to support students in higher education, technical skills, and the use of modern technology. He called on the business community to promote direct taxation, noting that the current indirect tax system places a burden on the common people.

Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh’s remarks underline the government’s focus on fostering a conducive environment for both local and foreign investors, with an emphasis on reform and modernization to drive economic growth.
