Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, emphasized the government’s commitment to digital empowerment and the provision of equal opportunities for all citizens through technology. This commitment was highlighted during her meeting with the Chief Executive Officer of Easypaisa Digital Bank in the capital city.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting focused on exploring strategies to promote a cashless economy in Pakistan. The minister expressed her full support for the Prime Minister’s vision of transforming the country into a cashless society. She underscored the importance of digital payments as a crucial component in the development of a modern financial system.
