Govt Committed to Provide Quality Education to Students

Islamabad: Minister for Education Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has emphasized that providing quality education for students and comprehensive training for teachers are among the government’s top priorities. He made these remarks during a meeting with UNESCO Chief in Pakistan, Fuad Pashayev, who visited him in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister for Education expressed his gratitude to UNESCO for its continued support and collaboration with the Ministry of Education, particularly regarding initiatives to promote girls’ education in Pakistan. The meeting addressed various issues, including those faced by out-of-school children, the progress of UNESCO’s initiatives on education, culture, and social issues, and the overall development of the education sector.

The UNESCO Chief reaffirmed the organization’s unwavering commitment to supporting the people of Pakistan in their recovery and reconstruction efforts following the recent devastating floods.
