Govt Develops Framework to Revive Industrial Sector: Tanveer

Lahore: Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain has announced the implementation of a new framework aimed at reviving the industrial sector. The framework has been developed with the assistance of foreign experts and technocrats.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister spoke to newsmen in Lahore, highlighting the government’s efforts to provide all possible facilities to businessmen and tackle the few remaining obstacles in the sector. The government is actively negotiating with Independent Power Producers, and significant changes are expected by April.

The Minister also emphasized the government’s commitment to reducing the interest rate to a single digit, noting a decrease from twenty-two to thirteen percent.
