Dar Orders Assistance for Victims of Moroccan Boat Tragedy

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting on issues relating to third-country relocations of Afghan nationals today. The meeting reviewed in detail the boat tragedy off the coast of Morocco leading to several deaths.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar issued instructions for the coordination of the government response and asked the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Interior to ensure the provision of efficient and timely assistance to the Pakistani victims of the tragedy.

The meeting was attended by the Foreign Secretary, Secretary Interior, and other officials, highlighting the government’s commitment to address the situation and provide necessary support to those affected.
