President, Prime Minister Pledge to Eradicate Terrorism from Nation

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have pledged to eliminate terrorism from the country, following a successful military operation against militants in the Khyber district. The operation resulted in the death of five militants, including their leader, and the arrest of another.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, both leaders praised the security forces for their bravery and effectiveness in the operation in the Tirah area. President Zardari emphasized that efforts against the militant group Fitna-al-Khwarij would persist until terrorism is completely eradicated.

Prime Minister Sharif reiterated the nation’s support for the security forces. He expressed the government’s determination to eliminate all forms of terrorism, highlighting the united stance of the country against such threats.
