Govt Implements Measures to Curb Blasphemous Content on Social Media: Law Minister

Lahore: Minister for Law and Justice, Azam Nazeer Tarar, has announced that the government has initiated comprehensive measures to curb blasphemy-related content on social media. Addressing a conference in Lahore, Tarar emphasized that coordinated governmental efforts have played a significant role in reducing incidents tied to the misuse of religious content online.

According to Radio Pakistan, Tarar highlighted that the government is also actively working on legislation against domestic violence. He further stated that under the existing laws, civilians can be tried in military courts, and individuals involved in the attacks on military installations on May 9th fall under the jurisdiction of these courts.
