Govt mobilizes resources with donors to combat climate challenges: Romina

Prime Minister’s Coordinator on Climate Change Romina Khursheed Alam says government is mobilizing resources by engaging bilateral and multilateral donors to combat climate-change induced challenges.

She made these remarks during a meeting with United Nations Development Program delegation in Islamabad today.

Romina Khursheed Alam said a dashboard is being set up to review the progress on the projects in this regard.

She said the Ministry is starting Montreal Protocol Project nationwide in collaboration with UNDP that would fix out ozone and Hydro Chloro floro carbon.

The meeting also discussed the GLOF-II project which was focusing on 10 districts of Gilgit-Baltistan and 08 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
