Govt Prioritizes Improved Travel Facilities for Public: Naqvi

Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has directed to utilize all resources to complete the project linking Margalla Road to the Motorway within the scheduled time. He made the remarks during his visit to the project site where he inspected the construction activities.

According to Radio Pakistan, the 2.7-kilometer-long project will feature a three-lane road on both sides and a two-lane service road. An interchange, two underpasses, and one bridge will also be constructed on GT Road. The Interior Minister highlighted that this project will provide an alternative, faster, and easier route between Islamabad and the motorway. He emphasized that providing people with better and faster travel facilities is the government’s top priority.

The Interior Minister also directed that the Sangjani Interchange on GT Road, included in the project, be completed by the 31st of July.
