Govt Prioritizes Transforming Productive Sectors into Export Growth Engines: Ahsan

Islamabad: Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal emphasizes the government’s commitment to transforming Pakistan’s productive sectors into engines of export growth. He made these remarks during a meeting with a Chinese delegation led by Senior Advisor of Economic Affairs Press Sun Dongsheng in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister expressed optimism that CPEC 2.0 will fulfill its objectives of modernizing Pakistan’s agriculture and industrial sectors through enhanced B2B cooperation. He noted that this initiative would also aid Pakistan in addressing its export deficit.

Minister Iqbal proposed that Pakistan collaborates actively with Chinese counterparts at the National Center of New Manufacturing to gain insights from China’s expertise in innovation, automation, and robotics to advance Industrial Revolution 4.0 and 5.0.

Both parties conveyed their readiness to deepen development synergy, foster mutually beneficial cooperation, and jointly propel CPEC 2.0 as a significant contributor to high-quality development and shared prosperity.
