Govt working to increase Foreign Direct Investment: Ahsan

Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has called for increasing exports to ensure sustainable growth in the country.

Speaking at a meeting in Islamabad on Friday, he said a sustained growth with an average rate of eight percent is required to strengthen economy. He emphasized that increasing Foreign Direct Investment and enhancing productivity in every sector should be the priority.

The Minister said the confidence of investors has been restored due to prudent measures of the incumbent government.
