Govt works out new strategy to control grey market

The federal government has worked out a new strategy to control the grey market with the support of Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).

State Bank of Pakistan and the Federal Board of Revenue have been directed to conduct a campaign against informal channels.

The government has directed the Finance Secretary to restore cash over counter facility at National Bank branches and border booths.
