Green Pakistan Initiative Revives Barren Lands, Boosts Modern Agriculture

Islamabad: With the support of Green Pakistan Initiative, barren lands are being made cultivable and modern agriculture and investment are being promoted across the country.

According to Radio Pakistan, an overseas Pakistani, Ghulam Mustafa, stated that 1,100 acres of land were provided to him in Rakh Ghulama, where 50 percent of the area has been made cultivable in two years.

He said Green Pakistan Initiative is providing investment opportunities to overseas Pakistanis. He added that under the initiative, modern irrigation methods and agricultural machinery are being utilized, while highly qualified agricultural experts are available at all times and conduct regular inspections of the farm.
