Hanif Abbasi’s Surprise Visit to Lahore Railway Station Highlights Cleanliness and Passenger Feedback

Lahore: Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi has paid a surprise visit to Lahore Railway Station and reviewed the cleanliness arrangements. During the visit, he also interacted with passengers in the waiting areas and sought their feedback.

According to Radio Pakistan, passengers traveling to Karachi demanded that facilities similar to those available at Lahore Station be provided at other stations as well. Responding to their demand, the Minister assured that facilities on the pattern of Lahore Railway Station will be made available at Karachi Railway Station by the 10th of the next month. He further mentioned that this model will also be replicated in other cities.

In addition to addressing passenger concerns, Abbasi directed the Divisional Superintendent that overcharging at the station will not be tolerated under any circumstances, emphasizing the importance of fair pricing for travelers.
