Mirpur Mathelo: HBL Zarai Services Limited has launched its services in Sindh, marking a significant step in its efforts to support farmers across Pakistan. The launch event took place in Dad Leghari, Mirpur Mathelo, and was attended by approximately 500 members of the farming community.
The ceremony was attended by Amer Aziz, CEO of HBL Zarai Services Limited, and Engineer Sardar Abdul Bari Khan Pitafi, a leading agri-livestock specialist and community leader. Local notables and farmer representatives from surrounding areas were also present.
Amer Aziz emphasized the importance of HBL Zarai’s expansion into Sindh, outlining the company’s vision for agricultural growth. “HBL Zarai is committed to transforming Pakistan’s agriculture through innovation, technology, and trust,” Aziz stated. He further explained that their expansion into Sindh aims to enhance productivity, profitability, and sustainability for local farmers.
Engineer Sardar Abdul Bari Khan Pitafi welcomed the initiative, highlighting its potential benefits for the farming community. He pointed out that access to mechanization, quality inputs, and professional support would significantly impact agricultural practices in the region.
HBL Zarai has established its first Zarai Dera in Dad Leghari, which will become fully operational in the coming months. The mechanization services are already in place, receiving positive feedback from local farmers. The service is reported to save substantial manual effort and reduce post-harvest wastage.
Looking ahead, HBL Zarai plans to set up additional Zarai Deras and Zarai Dost Shops in Shikarpur and Larkana, with further expansion into other key agricultural areas of Sindh. Teams are already on the ground, providing continuous support and advisory services.
