Health department constitutes committee to inquire fake appointments in Jacobabad

Karachi, June 01, 2016 (PPI-OT):In compliance of Supreme Court’s order, the Health Department Sindh has constituted an Inquiry Committee to probe into the matter regarding fake appointments without advertisement and interview in district Jacobabad. Dr. Khalid Shaikh Medical Superintendent Services Hospital Karachi Chairman of the Inquiry Committee while Dr. Taufique Ahmed M.S Sindh Government Hospital Korangi No. 5 and Dr. Muhammad Aslam Pechohu Additional Secretary Technical are members of the committee.

On Wednesday Dr. Khalid Shaikh had a meeting with Secretary Health Ahmed Bux Narejo in his office and discussed the matter in detail. On the directives of Provincial Minister Health Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar, Dr. Khalid Shaikh would visit Jacobabad on 6th June Monday to probe into the matter, while he has directed D.H.O. Jacobabad and other officers concerned to appear with relevant records of appointments in his office on Tuesday 7th June.

Meanwhile the Dr. Khalid Shaikh has also directed all those employees who were appointed by D.H.O Jacobabad to appear in person before Inquiry Committee on 8th June Wednesday with all educational and experience certificates. The Health Minister has directed the Inquiry Committee to take all out efforts to bring real facts and take those to task who are involved in this malpractice and corruption. Mr. Dahar said that the Court’s Orders should be implemented in letter and spirit.
