Hot and Humid Weather to Persist Across the Country, Says PMD

Islamabad: Hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, isolated rain-wind with thundershowers is likely in regions such as Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, and Upper and Eastern Punjab.

According to Radio Pakistan, there is also a likelihood of isolated heavy rainfall in certain areas of Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Northeastern Punjab during this period.

The temperatures recorded in major cities this morning include Islamabad at twenty-seven degrees centigrade, Lahore and Karachi at twenty-nine, Peshawar at twenty-eight, Quetta at twenty-one, Gilgit at seventeen, Murree at fifteen, and Muzaffarabad at twenty-four degrees centigrade.

In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the weather forecast indicates partly cloudy skies with chances of rain and thundershowers in Jammu, Pulwama, Shopian, and Baramula. Srinagar, Leh, and Anantnag are expected to experience partly cloudy weather. The morning temperatures were recorded as se
venteen degrees centigrade in Srinagar, Anantnag, a7nd Baramula, twenty-five in Jammu, seven in Leh, and eighteen in Pulwama and Shopian.
