Iran Extends Condolences to Pakistan Over Ongoing Floods

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received a telephone call this evening from Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, who offered his sincere condolences to the people of Pakistan over the ongoing floods across various parts of Pakistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, while conveying his sympathy and support to the flood-affected families over the loss of lives and their belongings, the Iranian President extended any assistance that Iran could provide to the people of Pakistan during this difficult time.

The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to President Pezeshkian for his kind gesture and Iran’s expression of solidarity during this period of pain and suffering. He also requested that his regards and good wishes be conveyed to the Supreme Leader Ayatullah Ali Khamenei.

The two leaders anticipate their interaction at the upcoming SCO Summit in Tianjin, China.
