Islamabad: Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, there is a likelihood of rain and thunderstorms in isolated areas of northeast Punjab, Kashmir, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
According to Radio Pakistan, the temperatures recorded this morning in major cities were as follows: Islamabad and Muzaffarabad at twenty-four degrees centigrade, Lahore at twenty-five, Karachi at twenty-eight, Peshawar at twenty-six, Quetta at twenty, Gilgit at twenty-one, and Murree at sixteen degrees centigrade.
The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir predicts partly cloudy weather with chances of rain, wind, and thundershowers in Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, while Leh is expected to experience partly cloudy weather. The temperatures recorded this morning in these regions were: Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag, and Baramula at fourteen degrees centigrade, Jammu at twenty-three, Leh at four, and Shopian at thirteen degrees centigrade.
