Hurriyet leaders visit bereaved family in Kulgam

Srinagar, May 27, 2015 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leaders, today, visited Kulgam and expressed solidarity with the family of a youth, Attaullah, who was martyred by Indian troops during a siege and search operation at Channigam in the district on Monday. The leaders including Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, Hakeem Abdul Rashid and Syed Bashir Andrabi while paying rich tributes to the slain youth said, “It is because of sacred blood of our youth, the Kashmir dispute could get attention of the international community.”

The Hurriyet leaders while expressing solidarity with the family said, “We are indebted to these families who have sacrificed their loved ones for the freedom of Kashmir.” They said that the continued detention of youth and political leaders in Srinagar and other parts of the Valley was atrocious and undemocratic and demanded their immediate release.

Meanwhile, a team of Democratic Freedom Party on the directions of party Chairman, Shabbir Ahmad Shah also visited Channigam, Kulgam to pay tributes to the martyred youth. The delegation comprised Bashir Ahmad Wani, Dr Bilal, Master Gul Muhammad, Master Azim ud din and others.
