Ideal Spinning Mills Limited to Hold Extraordinary General Meeting on May 30, 2023

Karachi, Ideal Spinning Mills Limited has announced an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) to be held on May 30, 2023, at Faisalabad. The purpose of the meeting is to transact important business, including the confirmation of minutes from the last Annual General Meeting and the election of new directors.

The company’s shareholders will consider the election of eight new directors to replace retiring directors for a period of three years. The retiring directors include Mr. Muhammad Saeed, Mrs. Robina Amjad, Mr. Ahsan Saeed, and Mr. Muhammad Asif (Independent). The proposed new directors are Mr. Amjad Saeed, Mr. Omer Saeed, Mr. Khizer Saeed, and Mr. Muhammad Azhar (Independent).

The retiring directors are eligible to offer themselves for re-election, and the shareholders will vote on the new director appointments during the meeting. The EGM will also transact any other business with the permission of the chair.

Ideal Spinning Mills Limited has requested that shareholders note that the share transfer books of the company will remain closed from May 23, 2023, to May 30, 2023, both days inclusive.
