Lahore: Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, engaged with police employees and their families at the Central Police Office, addressing various issues and concerns raised by the attendees. Dr. Anwar took immediate action, issuing directives for relief measures to be implemented promptly.
According to a statement by Punjab Police, during the meeting, Dr. Anwar listened to the grievances and applications from police personnel. He instructed the Additional IG Elite Police Force to address a request from Lady Constable Pathani Kausar.
In another instance, relief orders were issued to the DPO Kasur for retired Constable Abdul Hamid. Furthermore, retired Constable Muhammad Mushtaq and the widow of the late retired Constable Shoqat Ali had their concerns addressed by orders directed to the AIG Discipline.
Financial aid requests from Sub-Inspector Tahir Saleem and Constable Muhammad Usman were also attended to, with the IG directing the DIG Welfare and Finance to provide necessary assistance. Dr. Anwar also issued directives concerning other matters related to discipline, administration, promotion, and welfare, ensuring that the needs of the police community were prioritized.
