IG Punjab Addresses Police Employees’ Concerns in Meeting

Lahore: Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, engaged with police employees and their families at the Central Police Office, addressing their requests and concerns, and issuing directives for immediate relief.

According to a statement by Punjab Police, Dr. Anwar instructed the District Police Officer (DPO) of Sialkot to provide assistance to the widow of deceased police official Muhammad Asif. In a similar gesture, directives were given to the DPO Okara to offer relief to the father of martyred Constable Nadeem Tanveer.

Further actions included an order to the Additional IG Punjab to address the promotion request of Inspector Muhammad Shahid. Dr. Anwar also issued directives related to matters of discipline, administration, promotion, and welfare, emphasizing the department’s commitment to addressing the needs of its personnel.
