Lahore, June 03, 2023 (PPI-OT): IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has come up with a revolutionary initiative to facilitate driving license for citizens across Pakistan, under which now every citizen holding a Pakistani national identity card can get a driving license from any district of Punjab. On the instructions of IG Punjab Dr. Usman, DIG Traffic Punjab Mirza Faran Baig has issued a letter to all CTOs and DTOs across the province. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has said that there is no prison for any district, province or community to get a driving license from Punjab.

Driving licensing centers of Punjab Police are open 24/7 in big cities, 06 days a week in small districts. He said that 24/7 licensing facility has been started in Greater Iqbal Park and Iqbal Town Driving Licensing Centers. IG Punjab further said that through 24/7 and double system, Double the number of driving licenses of citizens.
