IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar’s welfare measures continued for heirs of police martyrs

Lahore, June 17, 2023 (PPI-OT): Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has been taking measures for the welfare of the heirs of the police martyrs. The keys of now house were given to widow of Shaheed constable Waqas Azeem. DPO Rana Umar Farooq also gave a cheque of Rs. 01 crores 35 lacs to Humaira Arshad widow of Shaheed. Constable Waqas Azim embraced martyrdom in April 2021 by showing courage and bravery against the criminal elements.

IG Punjab said that support and care of family of the martyrs is first responsibility of the police department. We will ensure the admission of the children of the great martyr to the best schools for higher education. Dr. Usman Anwar said that the history of the Punjab Police is full of brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the nation, in the future too, no sacrifice would be spared in the duty of protecting the lives and property of the citizens.
