IGP Sindh issues SOP regarding to appreciate citizens for their assistance to police

Karachi, November 12, 2018 (PPI-OT): Introduction

All those citizens who display act of bravery during crime incidents or any rescue operation for saving lives or property of general public need to be timely appreciate act an appropriate level by Police Department. Therefore, those who extend assistance to Police in fighting against Crime/Terrorism and prove to be better citizens must be awarded suitably.

Objective

To motivate citizens to come forward and help Police to fight crime and terrorism. This SOP (Standing Operating Procedure) is being issued with aim to determine the criteria for eligibility of citizens to be declared as *BRAVE CITIZEN* and responsibilities of Unit / District, Police Head in this regard.
