Moderate Earthquake Strikes Kishtwar in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar, A 3.4 magnitude earthquake hit the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir late Wednesday night, stirring concern among local residents. The earthquake was of moderate intensity and was felt across the region.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the National Center for Seismology (NCS) reported that the epicenter of the quake was at a depth of 30 kilometers. The tremors occurred at approximately 1:33 am. Fortunately, there have been no immediate reports of any damage or casualties resulting from the earthquake.
