‘IIOJK authorities must come clean on homeless families’

Srinagar, July 07, 2023 (PPI-OT): Former president of Indian National Congress chapter in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir Ghulam Ahmad Mir has asked the authorities to come clean on the issue of home to homeless families and apprise people as to who is homeless and how they have been categorized. Ghulam Ahmad Mir, commenting on the new policy of home to homeless families in Jammu and Kashmir, said the authorities should act in a responsible manner and explain as to who the homeless families are and how they have been categorized. The aspirations of the people must be taken into consideration before moving ahead on this count, he added.

“We believe this policy has made people more restless because they are feeling that the move is another assault on J and K, which should not happen,” Mir said and added that there will be no compromises on rights and aspirations of people in Kashmir, who are the victims of BJP’s vindictive policies.
