Inclusive Learning Center for Transgender persons launched in Islamabad

Inclusive Learning Center for Transgender persons has been started in Islamabad.

Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training, Rana Tanveer Hussain, inaugurated the centre.

The centre will provide transgender persons with basic education after which they will be linked with vocational training institutes to acquire essential skills.

Speaking on the occasion, he said this center will help build a more inclusive and equal society, where every individual has the opportunity to thrive.

He said education is right of every individual in a progressive state and all stakeholders must join hands with the government in fulfilling this obligation.

The Minister expressed his commitment to establish a full fledge educational institute for transgender persons’ formal education and vocational skills.
