Independence Day: Flag hoisting ceremony held RWU Rawalpindi

A flag hoisting and cake cutting ceremony in connection with 78th Independence Day was held at Rawalpindi Women University, Rawalpindi.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anila Kamal hoisted the national flag and later national anthem was played.

A guard of honor was also presented on the occasion., besides special prayers were offered for stability and prosperity of Pakistan.

Trees were planted within the university premises, and a large number of fruit plants were also distributed among the participants.

National Coordinator of the Inter-University Consortium, Murtaza Noor, who was the chief guest, addressed the ceremony. A large number of faculty, staff, and students of the university attended the ceremony.

The students also presented a medley of national songs, and a judo performance.
