India Accused of Systematic Violations in Kashmir

Islamabad: India is systematically violating international laws and conventions in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, according to a recent report.

According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, India’s actions, including the illegal and unilateral revocation of IIOJK’s special status by the Modi regime, represent a breach of established principles of international law. The report highlights that India is depriving the Kashmiri people of their fundamental rights and contravening multiple international human rights frameworks.

The report further states that India’s efforts to alter the demographic makeup of IIOJK contravene the Fourth Geneva Convention. It accuses India of disregarding United Nations resolutions on Kashmir and ignoring the legally binding commitment under international law to allow Kashmiris the right to self-determination.

The report calls for the United Nations to act decisively in upholding its resolutions on Kashmir and to hold India accountable for its actions. It urges the global community to impose sanctions on India for its violations of international law and human rights in IIOJK.

Concluding, the report emphasizes the need for Indian perpetrators of atrocities in IIOJK to be held accountable and brought to justice.
