India celebrates festive with innocent Kashmiris’ blood: Gilani

Srinagar, January 27, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), Syed Ali Gilani has said that every religious or national occasion of India brings sufferings for the Kashmiris in the shape of repeated frisking, arrests, nocturnal raids, cyber curbs and cordon and search operations.

Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar, paying rich tributes to the youth martyred by Indian troops in Khonmoh area of Srinagar, yesterday, India’s Republic Day, said, “Our oppressor celebrates its festive with the innocent blood of Kashmiris.”

He said, administrative representative (Governor) of our oppressor pretends to be hurt by the daily bloodshed, but at the same time joins the chorus of celebrations on the unabated spree of killings and takes lead to congratulate his armed “braves” to have eliminated a good number of Kashmiris.

He strongly reacted to the Indian Republic Day speech of the Governor of the territory and said that brutalities of India and its trigger-happy forces had converted this paradise on the earth into a hell, suffocating every living creature in this piece of land. The Governor, Satya Pal Malik, Saturday stated that he had no doubts that a day will come once again when Kashmir would be the same as what Emperor Jahangir had praised – a paradise on earth.

Syed Ali Gilani said, “Our healthy and clean environment has been polluted by the filthy and suffocating fumes of bullets, pellets and other ammunitions. Our peaceful and happy habitat has been blown up and converted into rubble by occupation forces.”

He said that India very deceitfully and cunningly forced its army in Kashmir seven decades ago and since then the people of Kashmir had been struggling to free themselves from its brutal occupation resulting in lakhs of innocent killings, thousands of unmarked graves and hundreds of graveyards. He said disproportionate use of force to quell and crush Kashmiris’ legitimate struggle seems to have no end. He said only remedy for all the problems faced by the Kashmiris lies in the settlement of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with their aspirations. He urged the Kashmiris to remain steadfast in their ongoing freedom movement.
