India: Sikh group to hold independence referendum

A New York-based advocacy group, “Sikhs for Justice” will hold an independence referendum for the Indian state of Punjab in the British capital next month.

The organisation has named the referendum as “London Declaration”.

It has offered to sponsor Sikh students and activists from various countries, including Pakistan, to participate in the event.
