Indian Army man found dead under mysterious circumstances in Srinagar

Srinagar, June 08, 2023 (PPI-OT): An Indian army man was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Mehjoor Nagar in Srinagar district, today. A man was found dead at his rented accommodation in Mehjoor Nagar, Srinagar. The police were intimated, which reached the site and took the body into its possession.

Confirming it, a police official told the media that the body has been taken to Shri Maharaja Hari Singh (SMHS) Hospital for medico-legal formalities, following which it will be handed over to the family for last rites. The official identified the deceased as Shuja Ali Butt, working as a soldier in the sports wing of the Indian army.
