Jammu: An Indian army man, critically injured in an attack near the Sunjwan Army Base in the Jammu district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, has succumbed to his injuries in a hospital.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the army man was targeted in a violent attack that involved multiple rounds being fired. The incident occurred in close proximity to the Sunjwan Army Base, a known military area that has seen similar incidents in the past.
In response to the attack, the Indian army initiated a comprehensive cordon and search operation in the surrounding areas. Drones were deployed to aid in the search and to possibly locate the assailants responsible for the attack.
