Planning Ministry Establishes Unit to Monitor and Evaluate Five Es Framework Implementation

Islamabad: The Ministry of Planning and Development has taken a significant step towards ensuring the effective implementation of the ‘Five Es’ framework by establishing a dedicated monitoring unit, announced Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal. The framework, which focuses on Exports, E-Pakistan, Environment, Energy, and Equity and Empowerment, is set to shape the national agenda with priorities to be announced by the Prime Minister shortly.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a symposium held today, Minister Iqbal highlighted that the newly formed unit would play a crucial role in assessing the adherence of various ministries and departments to the framework. Evaluations will be conducted on a quarterly basis to ensure that all relevant entities align with the stipulated priorities.

Minister Iqbal also stressed the importance of education, research, and policy continuity as foundational elements for the country’s progress. With the establishment of this monitoring unit, the government aims to bolster national development through structured and consistent oversight of strategic initiatives.
