Indian cop found dead mysteriously in Rajouri

Srinagar, May 17, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, a police head constable was found dead with grievous injuries in Rajouri district.

The body of police constable who was injured during scuffle with colleagues at Kotranka Police Station was recovered near a bridge in Kotranka area of the district. Police, however, claimed that he committed suicide by jumping from bridge at midnight and died on the spot. While people of the area said that some foul play in the death of the deceased identified as Head Constable Ghulam Rasool, a resident of Raqjnagar, Budhal.

Doctors who performed the post-mortem reported that the deceased had not jumped from the bridge. Rather, he received multiple injuries.

He is believed to have been killed by the colleagues with whom he had entered into scuffle.
