Indian navy commando dies after parachute gets entangled in wire in UP

Agra, May 12, 2023 (PPI-OT): An Indian Navy commando died after his parachute got entangled in high-tension wire in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

The commando died after his parachute caught fire after getting entangled in high-tension wire in Malpura area of Agra district, local police said on Friday. The commando Ankur Sharma, who was doing parachute jump training in Agra Air Force station, after boarding the aircraft, jumped over the Malpura dropping zone from the height of around 8,000 feet.
