Indian troops kill civilian in Pulwama

Srinagar, May 28, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred another civilian youth in Pulwama district, last night. The youth identified as Bilal Ahmad Ganai, a driver by profession, was injured after troops opened indiscriminate fire in Kakapora area of the district, late night. However, Ganai succumbed to his injuries in hospital.

Earlier, Indian army’s 50 Rashtriya Rifles camp came under an attack in the area. An Indian soldier was killed in the attack. Meanwhile, the authorities suspended internet and train services in South Kashmir after the killing of the civilian youth. The cellular companies snapped the Internet late Sunday night after a directive from the police. “The service was immediately suspended as a precautionary measure following the death of a civilian,” said an official. Train service between Banihal and Srinagar was also suspended.
