Info Minister Expresses Grief Over Demise of Comrade Shahid Usmani

Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of Comrade Shahid Usmani, husband of former Secretary General of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists and member of its Federal Executive Council, Fauzia Shahid. In a statement today, he extended his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family.

According to Radio Pakistan, Attaullah Tarar said he was deeply saddened to learn about the passing of Comrade Shahid Usmani. He stated that the late Shahid Usmani’s journalistic and social services would always be remembered.
