Info Minister Highlights Significance of PM’s Visit to China

Beijing: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has termed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to China as highly significant. Speaking to the media after the opening session of the Pakistan-China B2B Investment Conference in Beijing today, he highlighted the importance of the visit and the warm relations between the two nations.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister expressed the Prime Minister’s deep respect for Chinese President Xi Jinping, whom he considers a role model. The meetings with the Chinese leadership were described as extremely warm and cordial, underscoring the strong bilateral ties.

The Minister pledged to enhance social media and media collaborations to ensure a greater exchange between young influencers from both countries. He extended an invitation to Chinese social media influencers to explore the rich culture, burgeoning IT sector, and vast tourism potential in Pakistan.

Attaullah Tarar emphasized the rapid expansion of bilateral trade, with Pakistani manufacturers eager to access the Chinese market. Meanwhile, Chinese businesses are exploring opportunities in Pakistan, further solidifying economic ties between the two nations.
