Information Minister Attaullah Tarar to Open Media Facilitation Centre in Islamabad

Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar is slated to inaugurate the new Media Facilitation Centre in Islamabad today. The facility has been set up to assist local and foreign media during the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Media Facilitation Centre is equipped with modern facilities aimed at supporting comprehensive media coverage. These facilities include a computer lab, high-speed internet, a digital studio, a podcast studio, a media library, and a conference room, all designed to cater to the diverse needs of media professionals covering the summit.

The establishment of this center underscores the ministry’s commitment to enhancing media services and supporting the journalistic community by providing state-of-the-art resources during significant international events.
