Secretary Information and Broadcasting Ahmad Nawaz Sukhera visited Election City of Radio Pakistan at National Broadcasting House in Islamabad this evening.
Director-General PBC Shafqat Jalil and Director News and Current Affairs Javed Khan Jadoon briefed him about marathon transmission of Radio Pakistan.
He was also informed about arrangements made by Radio Pakistan for prompt dissemination of results of the National Assembly and Provincial Assemblies.
The Secretary also visited National News Room, Social Media Section and Dhanak Channel Studio.
Ahmad Nawaz Sukhera appreciated that Radio Pakistan was fast in updating its Website and other platforms of social media. He added that Radio Pakistan leads on social media’s horizon and compels other media houses to follow the trend.
