Srinagar, October 18, 2015 (PPI-OT): Zahid Rasool Butt, one of the truckers, injured in Udhampur attack by fanatic Hindus, succumbed at a hospital in New Delhi, today, family and police confirmed. Zahid Rasool Butt had suffered 70 per cent injuries after a mob set a truck on fire in which he was sleeping along with two more Kashmiris in Udhampur area of Jammu on October 9.
He breathed his last today, Muhammad Ashraf, a family member, told in a media interview over phone from New Delhi. Meanwhile, people took to the streets in his native village Batengo, Khanabal, near Srinagar-Jammu highway to protest his death.
