Punjab Government Announces Restructuring in Higher Education Department

Lahore, The Punjab Higher Education Department has initiated a restructuring plan by creating seven new technical and IT-related positions, in a move to replace eight abolished posts. This strategic adjustment aims to enhance the department’s efficiency and focus on modernizing its operations.

According to Higher Education Department – Government of The Punjab, this order was made to streamline departmental functions and better align the staff’s expertise with the current technological demands within the education sector. The restructuring involves various colleges across the Punjab region, impacting administrative and financial operations by transitioning roles to support more technical and IT-centric capabilities. This change reflects the department’s commitment to improving educational services through more focused and technologically equipped positions.
