Inspector General of Police visited Khyber Teaching Hospital Peshawar

Peshawar: The Inspector General of Police Government of Khyber Pakhtoonkhaw, Akbar Khan Hoti visited Khyber Teaching Hospital Peshawar today regarding strengthening its security on the request of Chief Executive Dr. Umar Ayub Khan.

He took a detail round especially the exit and entry points, gynae and labour room department. A brief was also given by the Chief Executive with a request for enhancement of police force to the hospital.

The IGP on this occasion announced 22 armed police officials for Khyber Teaching Hospital who will be provided with metal detectors and other items necessary for screening. The Chief Executive thanked the IGP for his keen interest in up gradation of the hospital security system in the best interest of the institution and general public.
