Interior Minister and Governor Sindh Discuss Peace and Cricket Initiatives

Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesori in Karachi to discuss mutual interests, including peace initiatives and the promotion of cricket through the Pakistan Super League.

According to a statement by Press Information Department, the meeting covered significant topics such as the maintenance of peace in the province and the role of law enforcement agencies. Governor Tesori expressed appreciation for their contributions to maintaining order and highlighted the recent renovation of the National Stadium as a key factor in promoting cricket in the region.

The Governor also emphasized the potential for new cricket talent to emerge from the Pakistan Super League platform. In response, Interior Minister Naqvi commended the Governor’s initiatives and highlighted the importance of modern IT courses in shaping the future of the youth.

The meeting concluded with Minister Naqvi participating in a tree-plantation campaign by planting a sapling at the Governor House, underscoring a continued commitment to environmental sustainability.
