Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with JUI chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman at his residence to discuss matters of mutual interest and the overall situation of the country. The meeting highlighted the ongoing political landscape and emphasized national priorities.

According to Press Information Department, Mohsin Naqvi expressed gratitude towards Maulana Fazlur Rehman for his pivotal role in the approval of the 26th constitutional amendment, noting his consistent prioritization of Pakistan’s interests. The Interior Minister also inquired about Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s health and extended well wishes. Maulana Fazlur Rehman reiterated that the focus remains on Pakistan and its citizens. Senator Kamran Murtaza was also in attendance during the meeting.
