NA Speaker Expresses Commitment to Strengthen Pakistan-Australia Relations

Islamabad: Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, has affirmed Pakistan’s dedication to enhancing its diplomatic relationship with Australia, emphasizing the significance of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening bilateral ties.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Sadiq articulated this commitment during a meeting with Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan, Neil Hawkins. He underscored the essential role that parliamentary diplomacy could serve in expanding and deepening the relationship between the two nations. He also recognized the contributions of the Pakistan-Australia Parliamentary Friendship Group within the National Assembly.

High Commissioner Hawkins reiterated Australia’s commitment to Pakistan’s development, highlighting the importance of initiatives aimed at women’s empowerment and youth rights protection.
