Interior Minister Naqvi Commends Security Forces During Visit to Islamabad

Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the stretch from D-Chowk to Khyber Plaza, engaging with law enforcement personnel and acknowledging their efforts in restoring order. Interior Minister Naqvi expressed gratitude to the Rangers, Islamabad Police, Punjab Police, Sindh Police, Frontier Corps (FC), and Pakistan Army for their roles in clearing the area of miscreants.

According to Press Information Department, Naqvi conducted a review of the streets and directed the Capital Development Authority to clean the areas promptly. He also examined the damage to buildings and installations resulting from recent attacks and instructed the removal of any remaining obstacles. Speaking to the media, Naqvi highlighted the successful containment of chaos, attributing it to the bravery of law enforcement personnel. He congratulated the security forces, stating that the day marked a victory for peace in Pakistan.
